Interview with Dr.Patel

After the visit to GCS, we planned to meet the senior most oncologist of the city, Dr. Patel, and get all our doubts clarified.

 

Dr. Patel was kind enough to give devote his precious time to us.

 

Our group put their heads together and framed the question based on their doubts like whether cancer is hereditary, who has more chances of getting cancer, whether the diet plays any role in cancer occurrence, what can we do to prevent the occurence of cancer etc.

 

We asked him questions and got all our doubts clarified. He explained each and every point giving the scientific details. He gave the data also for each and every type of cancer in India and also in Gujarat.

  • Avoid use of tobacco and alcohol
  • Eat healthy, natural food
  • Avoid too much of sunlight
  • Observe health and safety regulation in work environment
  • Seek medical advice, if there is any unexplainable change in the normal health
  • Contribute in reducing air pollution
  • Exercise regularly
  • Get Regular medical checkup and screening testing done
  • Keep indoor plants like money plant, aloevera, rubber plant,chrysanthemum etc. They absorb ,gasoline, benzene, tobacco smoke, formaldehyde from the environment..
